Just terrible. Got it last year. Already lost the ability to speak.
4 kids too.

I know the Saints safety, Gleason, is still alive after years of being diagnosed, but obviously he's bound by so much medical equipment to keep him alive.

I don't know how some cope with that news. Most cancers at least you have a fighting chance. This, you watch your body slowly "die" and shrivel.

ALS is almost as bad as Alzheimer's

I feel for his kids; seeing their father shrivel up day by day

what that has do have done and will do to them is horrible

My grandfather died of ALS at 54.
It really is horrible !
