I'm surprised I haven't see a recent post about Mo Claiborne (perhaps I simply missed it)...but let's say he is good to go today. The question is how you would use him and is an 8-week absence really much of an issue to a secondary player in terms of timing/playing at game speed, etc.?

I would hate to see him get torched in solo coverage early in the game - I say put him into double coverage schemes on someone until he can show he is operating at a high level. If he can play at a high level, that will certainly be welcome going against Aaron Rodgers.

Tell us more about these double coverage schemes of which you speak...

Start Claiborne and Brown. Play Scandrick in the nickel. Carr in the dime.

Don't worry he will play lights out because it's his contract year.:D

Actually, this couldn't be a better situation for him to ease himself into a game (tipping in at 80%). If this was against the Falcons or Commanders.....I'd be worried, but not with the GB WR threats. This game is going to lean more on Scandrick, Jones, Lee and Durant to battle with Cobb, Cook and Montgomery.

It's a fair question, if he was too njured to even participate in team practice last week after 2 months of rehab how game fit can he be a week later?

I assume that you are suggesting that he be brought in for some of the dime packages that Marinelli employed against Detroit?

Mo is back! I expect him to be tested and he'll pass that test with flying colors. Aaron Rodgers is getting shut down... Victory, Cowboys! :flagwave:

That's what I been saying. Mo can earn double digit more millions with his performance these upcoming games. If he can't ball out in a set up like this he's just weak.

Claiborne has been running in practice, making all the cuts. Team said he is ready to go. And I don't think GB has a receiver that can blow past him.

He's healthy and been practicing. Really no reason to believe he would struggle today.

Carr has started every game since he signed w the Cowboys, that isn't gonna change today. I expect we'll still see a lot of Brown, though.

Green Bay won't be attempting to run the ball down the throat of Dallas...so the packages will be on the field a lot. All of the corners will be used, and quite a bit...

You stay with what got you to this point. But Claiborne and Brown, who ever starts I think they are just fine. But you leave Carr and Scandrick play where they have been and their regular assignments.
You do not go switching this around.

This is why they are coaches and we post showing why we are not coaches, GM's, owners......

I say ease him in, bring him in on obvious passing situations to start
