Clarence Hill and Hellman nugget on Dak cracking under pressure

I will say this........some say it's him, others say he doesn't have enough talent around him. I don't know which it is but can both be true? Here's what I do know.......he played the GB like a free-agent rookie when ALL the marbles were aligned in his favor. There was no excuse for that whether you have a good or bad team and frankly I'm not sure he will ever recover from that gam

Just say it like it is, " Prescott nuts up at the worse times and his mates pay for it"!!!!!!!!!

Possibly, but the way this team was built they were designed to play with a lead. Once it got to 27-0 it was over and neither side of the football did their part. Had the offense been able to get anything on the board those first few drives and avoided the turnovers its possible its a different story. Plenty of blame to go on both sides of the football, and also plenty of blame to the front office for not being able to field NFL caliber LBs.
That's the central issue, if the defense can't restrict scoring we struggle.
It supports the viewpoint that Dak just needs too much/EVERYTHING to go right..... if one aspect fails (eg secondary, vrs GB), it's game over.
As you correctly say. There's plenty of blame to go around, but whatever it is we can be sure that when it does....Daks not the solution to get us out of it (especially, at 60m per)

Well.... recently in the last 10 years, the only QBs who have won Super Bowls with their arm is Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, and.... Nick Foles. Expecting Dak to be one of the first 2 is an impossible and unrealistic ask. Expecting him to be the last is possible, but shouldn't be the expectation as we gotta take into account it's one of those rare instances that just weirdly happened for some reason.

So I think even most Dak fans would agree having a great running game would help him greatly. But unlucky for us, Zeke fell off badly. The Zeke fans in 2016 thought he was Emmitt.... lol.
Even in the Nick Foles game, the Eagles ran for 164 while he passed for 373. Oddly, that game was the last hurrah for both LeGarrette Blount and Jay Ajayi. And IIRC, they did it with a back up at LT. Also, for you stat nerds, the Eagles finished 3rd in rushing that year while we finished 2nd! But we were only 26th in passing.

I have defended Dak and he is not the bum that many like to believe is. But the team was way better when they beat Seattle and Tampa. Like to see them win one game when its at least an even match.
Dak isn’t a bum, but it’s clear that he can’t put the team on his back and win. He’s a guy who can beat up on bad teams and struggles vs the good ones. He needs a really good roster and staff to get over the hump. Unfortunately, his cap number, along with the inept front office, make that impossible.

Dak is a good player with a strong work ethic and a great leader, but he isn’t a great QB.
