Twitter only allows you to use 140 characters ( I think that is the right number) so sometimes people abbreviate some words to get everything else in. However an argument could be made that when some do cut down Cowboys in a tweet they sometimes use Boys instead of Cow.

There is no doubt that members of the media who use the term "cows" instead of cowboys are doing so in a negative manner. It is demeaning to the team and that's what some of them like to do.
