Small sample size but he doesn’t look washed to me. Looks legit so far.

He just had injury issues last year.
Sure he is getting older but plenty of linemen can play past 30

Saquon was 18 for 60 yards, 3.3-yard average.

The Dallas defense did pretty well controlling the run game, especially in the 2nd half when Eberflus started calling some run blitzes. I hope Eberflus learns that he's going to have to come out early in the game and try to get teams in 3rd and long, and not play BBDB defenses for an entire half. Those soft play calls were on him. Blitz, early, and disguise them...get in the QB's head on the 1st drive. Why let the QB be comfortable early???

All in all, I like what I saw...especially in the secondary. They held up pretty well, and if it wasn't such a mobile QB, some of those plays would have resulted in coverage sacks. So I applaud the coverage schemes, but we need the front 7 to be allowed to be more aggressive...with some timely blitzes, early. And on 1st down sometimes.

Come on, Eberflus, don't turn into a Marinelli please.
