I loved the original. It's one of the movies that gets me all nostalgic about my childhood....right up there with The Goonies.

...and this isn't one of those movies that I'm against being remade. There is no sense of "modernizing" this one...I doubt they'll be throwing in some wack *** rap song and break out in a dance off.

This looks amazing.

I'm probably going to love this....which means Childsplay will hate it (thought I'd save you the trouble).

Looks good to me, and Goonies is a classic.

I saw the original one and just loved it. This one looks like it's done it proud. I can't wait to see this.

Since I didn't see the original movie as a kid, I don't hold it in very high regard. Poorly written. But it was Harryhausen, and a bad Harryhausen movie is better than....etc.

Hope they do a nice job of the remake and hope they blast that dammned owl to the Asphodel Fields.

That's one of the remakes that makes sense to do.
