So far, Dallas fans have enjoyed the beginning of the season. Visions of sugar plums are dancing in their heads and long time fans are remembering this is how things were in the past....winning. Past two decades, newer Dallas fans know this franchise resemble for like the Lions/Jets than a winner. But many of Dallas fans are waiting for the shoe to drop....

Bengals "were" the #1 team in the AFC going into Week 8 after defeating the previous #1 team in the Ravens. Well, the Bengals walk into Jets Stadium and lose to a bad football team without their starting QB. Cincinnati was gushy with sugar plums also and got beat by the NY Jets. The shoe dropped. Hope the Cowboys don't repeat this.

Also, the week we’ll likely lose without our QB1, the hapless Eagles become an offensive juggernaut! Drama ramps up, things tighten in the NFCE, rating$ go up…

And Josh Allen waves to celebrate! Think he’ll get fined 10k?

Odd…

Every team has let downs sooner or later. I remember our dynasty team was beat by the Rams, one year. And it was the pre- Dick Vermeil Rams, when they really sucked.

No matter what happens tonight, it won't be as bad as losing to the Jets with White

WTH are you even talking about? Failed attempt at a "realist" perspective? Or a lame troll thread?

A Freudian Slip. The biggest troll here had a slip up when he said "I hope they win" in on one of his comments proving he's not a fan of this current era, and it's obvious because Dak's is our QB. That troll even thinks Craig Morton is a better QB than Dak.

This seems like one of those weeks for a lot of weird results. The weird result for the Cowboys would be Dak doesn't play and they beat the Vikings.

Doesn’t matter about fans
Us being over positive or negative means nothing
Hopefully MM made it clear that too keep winning you have to keep playing good football and don’t give much thought to your opponents record at all

Not NEAR as weird as the Jets beating the Bengals with Mike White!

I do not. Although, this evening will provide an insight into the core and character of this team. If Dak doesn't go, there is a steep hill to climb. Now, this hill can certainly be climbed without Rush going lights out because this group is talented and has been, to this point, motivated. We'll see whether or not this is a truly different cast of characters or the same old bunch who will lay down at the first opportunity.

We don't need this game to find out who the number 1 QB is - we know that. But we will see how well the others play during adversity of the worst kind .. that which is perceived.

What steep hill is there to claim. 17 games in a season. This is one . I actually can’t wait for this game for this reason. To see what we really are like I’ve been saying that
