i don't think hes overrated but i do believe he gets put on a pedestial. he is a great LB IMO.

Actually, I think he is a pretty good pass defender for a pass rushing LB. Over the past 4 years Matthews has 4 career interceptions and 22 career Passes Defensed .

D. Ware in contrast has 1 interception and 22 Passes defensed over 8 years.

On the other hand, Matthews isn't nearly the pass rusher Ware is.

Being a fan of one team vs another (or both) doesn't stop me from trying to be honest in my analysis. D. Ware is the best pass rusher in the NFL over the past decade, and it's not even close.

HOW CAN YOU BE A FAN OF BOTH TEAMS?!

I mean, sure, I'll root for other teams to lose and even occasionally other teams to win if it helps the boys but I just can't fathom how someone can claim to have 2 favorite NFL teams. What if they play each other? Are you happy no matter what? That would actually be kinda nice :laugh2:

I love Clay the pass rusher. The dude is flat out relentless. Also love the way he wraps up on sacks with perfect form.

However I've never see a dominant pass rusher get knocked on his butt as much as this kid. He gets pancaked a lot. I've only seen Ware get pancaked maybe once, or twice.
