Washington camp full: The Commanders have turned the practice of inviting undrafted free agents to minicamp into a science. They are in the process of signing nine undrafted free agents who worked out at their weekend rookie minicamp. The team had a total of 86 players in camp.

Last year, Washington had four players make the roster who came to the team as unsigned, undrafted rookies trying for a chance. The Commanders believe in having enough rookies available so they can be studied and eventually brought back if the need arises.

Actually, thats the mathematical formula behind 302 of the 700+ pages in Al Saunders play book. They've now applied to to drafting undrafted free agents. :

We used to bring in over a 100. I thought there was a limit you could bring in. Maybe that's only TC.
