Cleaning out the movie bin...

...and I came across a movie I watched all the time as a youngster which happened to star a beautiful girl who I claimed to be my very first crush.

You guys are going to laugh but the music in this movie was really good. The movie itself? Ahh...not so much.

The movie is Xanadu...the girl is Olivia Newton-John. I had to plug it in the ol' VCR. The quality was terrible so I'm going to get the DVD.

I don't think there's a cheesier movie but man I love the music.

Anyone else seen it and share my sentiments?

That movie...I remember me and my cousin getting dragged to see that movie by my Aunt.

Thought ONJ was hot back then but now looking back I don't see why I thought she was so hot.

Terrible movie though...argggh.

I remember my aunt getting mad at me and my cousin because we was laughing at the movie being so bad.

My bro works at a bank in Malibu where ONJ has an account. The first time he met her, he got her to sign a b-day card for my mom, who is a huge fan. He said she was happy to do it, and was as nice as could be.

No shame in an ONJ crush. She used to live out by a beach that we'd visit pretty regularly (in Malibu like Pep said above) - saw her in the grocery store several times. she was very hot back then.
