Apple is a Company. Even though they own their OS on their products..it is out sold worldwide 10 to 1 or something crazy by Android, there is no monopoly by Company for Android. It is just an OS..kind of like Windows.. BUT if you are betting on Google (makers of Android/Chrome/etc vs Apple) then that is another bet. It's just Apple vs IBM again. IBM won last time...IBM let everyone load their OS.. and again Apple isn't doing it.

I only use Android's....Apple is for technological inept people, grannies or women. I prefer to own my devices and the traffic going in and out of them...Apples are for Nancy's. I'd be ashamed to be a male and admit I love Apple.. just me. I "root" everything I own and know all packets coming in an out of my networks with Open Source products.

interesting, but this tells me two things..........apple can actually get much bigger and has more upside with the IOS, and one way to do that is simply allow other smart phones the ability to use their system.

If they opened up their OS, they'd win EVERYTHING..but in Apple's long history they just don't do that.. biggest flaw with them throughout their history. They always keep going but their lack of "openness" has been the only thing that has kept them from dominating the entire world....

I can't argue... who can say Apple is doing bad? NO ONE.. Just like anyone that says Elon Musk is an idiot. Same thing. More than enough room. Only thing you gotta give Android/Google props for doing is allowing pretty much the ENITRE world poverished or not to have a shot at something.... Open Source/Free and cheap means more people can use it. That's really all I mean..it's important. Android is an OS kids in povershed countries can use. Apple is NOT....

Sure but as a true tech guy, how about a little respect for the true creator and genius that created all this. Everyone else is just a copy cat. Apple is the true genius that invented the smart phone. Everyone else just stole the technology. They copy everything apple does right down to the exact detail. It’s the biggest compliment they can ever give apple.

The smart phone is the greatest technological advance we will ever seen in our lifetime. It’s literally changed they way we live and communicate.

Apple is the true genius that invented the smart phone. Everyone else just stole the technology. They copy everything apple does right down to the exact detail. Dude... Apple's "new tech" is always something Android has already done years prior.

Apple showed their sad pathetic weakness when they refused to open iMessage platform upto the masses (ie anyone not using an iPhone). Trying to control the population instead of allowing organic growth to expand your little messaging system is a sign of weakness.

I honestly don’t care what people use for phones. But I always get a kick out of the apple hate. Doesn’t bother me a bit. Apple has been amazing for me in many ways. I also own all the blue chip tech stocks. Let them fight it out and make their shareholders happy.
