Has anyone used Clearshield on their car, or know someone who has?

We were thinking about getting this on the new truck since it will be seeing a lot of highway driving, which means inevitable rock dings.

I'd love to hear any feedback.

If this is what I think it is, I know a lot of Challenger owners are very pleased with it. But to be sure, is this the crap the dealer wants to spray on, or the pieces of clear covering that you put over the car?

It's the urethane pieces that they place onto the car. They are custom cut for your car, and we'd have a shop install them.

We've decided that we're getting it, as we already have one ding on the front. :(

Being dirty is one thing. Having a hundred rock dings all over the front of your brand new truck is another.

Kil drives to work down a stretch of highway that is notoriously terrible for construction and terrible road conditions.

Our other car, also new, has lots of road rash from him driving it the past year to work, and we'd prefer to prevent as much of it as possible on the new car.
