Of all the years we get the pick, it was last year after they had just won 10 games!!! Reading the article about Quinn getting punched in the face, made me think of getting their pick, last years #21/22 pick overall versus a top 5 selection.....oh well, thems the breaks!!!

But really!!!!

As usual, this lady is no tramp, and right as rain. I think providence smiled on us.

What article are you talking about? I never heard about him getting punched in the face.

I'm kinda glad we ended up with Felix. I haven't been that impressed by Chicken Legs out in Oakland.

Now, if only we had drafted Cason instead of Jenkins...

It's funny you started this because I was going to as well. Pretty much the only decent season the Browns have had in the last decade was last season. But, we did land Felix instead of DMac which was a plus so I can't complain. Its just funny that the Browns were decent last year and this year they stink.

i just hope felix gets back to full fitness before training camp next year-that injury does not look good.

Exactly my 1st thought. I am happy with it. No 2nd thoughts, no looking back.

If we had gotten a higher pick from Cleveland last year, we would have been stuck with that bust known as Darren McFadden.

Good to see him tearing up things in Oakland.

Wow. Just wow.

Seems pretty moronic to give up on McFadden after one season in which he was injured the entire year. That toe injury would have put most RB's on the IR.

Plus, that dysfunctional nightmare known as the Oakland Raiders didn't use him at all. In the only game he had significant carries in, he finished with 164 yards and a TD.

I'm happy with Felix but McFadden will be just fine and will still be a great RB in this league.

I don't think its fair, at this point, to pass judgement on McFadden based on a year when he had to battle injuries and played on one of the worst squads, not in the city of Detriot, to ever be assembled.

The Browns collapse has helped our 3rd round pick in 2009. That is a very small consolation, I know. But we pick in the Browns spot early in round 3 instead of 15 or so slots lower if the Browns pick had been in the 20s. That difference is worth about 80 "points" in trade value on draft day... which either means drafting a better round 3 player or moving up about 8 extra slots in round 2 with a trade. Not much but is something. Also, we have the Lions pick in round 4 which is the top pick in that round.

hes played in more games than Felix.......he has more rushing yards........more TDs.......more recieving yards..........and is playing on crap team......so i wouldnt call him a bust just yet ..unless you are ready to declare felix a bust as well............

i agree Felix is probably better but...if this season is sign of injured seasons to come it wont matter.......Bo Jackson anyone.......

Bo Jackson?

Why would you mention him? He didn't even play his rookie season.

I'm being overdramatic.

But given where he was drafted, he's a disappointment as far as I'm concerned.

But you're right. He has time to salvage his reputation.

i was referring to the career of a great rb being cut short by injury...........

and he did play half of his rookie season.......he joined the Raiders after the baseball season was over

Well, that wasn't his "official" rookie season. He never played when he was drafted, opting, instead, to play baseball.
