I'm from Cleveland Ohio and so glad I'm not a Browns fan because they are a embarrassing franchise. But being from Cleveland I follow them. Anyway do you think what they are doing now, stocking up on draft picks and actually didn't draft a QB in round 1 instead they are trying to rebuild the team was the best thing they have done in the last 10 yrs? Yeah I know they could of had Wentz but who cares. He would of died in cleveland. I think building the team around them first is the best move. Let rg3 die in Cleveland and build around that for now. What do you guys think?

I'm from Cleveland and I still live there. I think that's what they want to do is build the team up first and then draft a QB last. My brother who is a huge Browns fan thinks they should take their two first rounders next season and continue building the trenches and then draft a QB in 2018.

Stockpiling draft picks is generally a good idea. It allows you to draft the BPA and fill holes on the team at a lower expense.

However, I'm a firm believer that the GM position ins the most overrated position in the NFL. It's not completely unimportant, but it's vastly overvalued by the fans, media and even teams themselves. It's really about the HC and his ability to develop talent...particularly at QB.

The other part is that as a statistician that has worked in NFL statistics, it's hard for me to take any team seriously in terms of a 'Moneyball' approach to the game f football unless they start going for it on 4th down more often than not. To me, it's just talking a big game, but not really using advanced statistics to give your team the edge.

I'll be flying out to Cleveland for the game November 6th. I have my plane tickets already. Where downtown is a cool area to hit up the bars? We are staying at the Hilton downtown.
