Not only did Steratore and Blandino not see enough to stick with the call on the field, but they also cost Dallas about 30 seconds.

The ruling ultimately was an incomplete pass, and the clock should have been reset back to what is was when the ball "fell incomplete."

However, the clock remained at the same time as it was when McCarthy challenged.

Two screws. One play.
 
Defense still didn't stop them. A few extra seconds wouldn't have mattered.

I think it could've changed Green Bay's Playcalling a bit. It really would've sucked if Crawford would've batted that ball down and the Cowboys would've got it back minus the 30 seconds.
 
In hindsight it didn't matter much, but that 30 seconds could have cost Dallas two or three plays. Steratore is a brutal ref, plain and simple.
