Close Enough Fellas?

I appreciated the confidence of us getting the blowout, but as I posted during the week, this game would be closer than we think! Some of the old timers should have been right with me. I'v seen 30 years of these two teams play, and you can throw the records right out the window. It was hard fought, and we came out of 3 division games 3-0. I can't ask for more than that.
Don't over anylize a defensive breakdown either, (exept Roy covering the tight end). We will be ready for NYJ, and they will feel the pain. :starspin

Hey listen man you had a correct prediction, congrats. Dont tell people they "should have been with you" Its not as if there havent been decisive wins or one-sided games in the history of this rivalry. I wouldnt have been at all surprised if the Cowboys had won this game by 20 points. Seems you would have been.

While its true that they play each other tough and close.... it was not out of the realm of possibility that we could have blown them out.

We just didnt bring THAT game with us to the stadium. They were ripe for a blowout.. they just played like a desperate team that needed the win.... and stil lost.

Look at is this way... it was sort of a blowout... ONE guy smoked them for 4 BIG PLAYS. 4 x 81 = 9-1

I said "some" should have been with me. Listen, I would have love to seen us kill them and put it away early. I LOVE that we are 9-1, I just never predict blowouts against this HATED rival. i was more nervous last night than when we played the Pats. I'ts all good, we take care of the Jets on Turkey day.:starspin

I expected a tough game. This is the Commanders throw the records out and all the stats they mean nothing. This game challenged the Cowboys and they came through in the clutch. In my book this is a good win.
