Closed on the new home... finally !!

Conrats Dallas. I am honestly happy for you. I think anybody can be happy for good fortune when it lands on good people.

Enjoy that new TV/Game Room.

Bigger place, more stuff to fix. I've found that out the hard way this year.
You right! And on that note, I'll stick to my little bitty house in the sticks.

I've got two more major repairs and then this house will be set for another 30 years. lol

Thank you ABQ and thanks to everyone for the kind words. After seeing the comments about more repairs and cost, my lunch isn't sitting so well.

:laugh2:

At one point I was, but they put a lot on the table here at my office in order to keep me. Solid management in place here helped me decide to stay loinger. That had a lot of my decision to just stay here. At least until my son is fully grown and off to college.

Winters are hard, but I have decided that he and I will be flying to the sunshines 2-3 times over the winters.

Spend the summers here and spend a portion of the winters out in Hawaii or Cali or Mexico. Anything to break up the long dark days and cold.

Thanks for the nice words, Paint. We really like it. ;)

Must feel really nice. Nice to know that your employer likes you so much that they are willing to put out a little extra to keep you.

So you definitely need to name the giant rock in your yard "Mount Landry" or something like that ;)
