Clove's Cowboys Practice Photos

I haven't started a thread since 05, so here goes.

Weird experience - got there at 1:45, stood in the sun for 3 hours. Made friends with the folks in front and behind me. Got in and had a plan to get to the front row but that plan was squashed because they roped it off (after I'd' already made it over there) found a great seat then realized that I could get autographs because I was part of the 1st thousand there.

Decision to make. Should I go to the field for autographs or stay in my great seats. I decided to go, and then proceeded to stand and wait an additional hour in Charlie Waters line - when it started pouring rain, I mean buckets of rain.

Got my Charlie Waters autograph, tried to find a great seat, but ended up with okay seats behind the goal post.

Finally they opened the forbidden section and was able to get pretty good seats near the field near the goal line.

That is all; I had fun all by myself, since the wife couldn't come.
I edited some of the pics, sort of what I do for a living.

nice. how long have you been into photography? I only ask because I've just recently gotten into it and bought a nice starter camera (nikon d40) and im loving it

I've been in probably 5 months now.. Now I'm full time, I do a ton of weddings and all types of sports.

I like Nikon, I'd like the Nikon D3, but I don't have $6,000 of spare change right now.

Those are some nice pictures, you definitly have a good eye for composition.
Nice to know that you can get a 40D into the stadium, I am coming down for the Cincy game and need to find out what camera equipment I can bring.
At Ford Field last year the longest lens I could bring in was a 50mm, I some how got an 85mm in.
