Did anyone see the Houston game? From what I saw, Clowney was ferocious with the pass rush. He didn't register any sacks but he caused a lot of pressure and made a few stops in the backfield. But he was dog awful in coverage. The two drives Clowney and Watt were in together, the defense gave up two passing touchdowns. Houston would be better off in a 4-3 in my opinion. Clowney ar RDE and Watt at LDE. Good luck QB.

They will be running a bunch of 4 man fronts anyway when they are in nickle and dime.

Now I'm no Footsball expert, but to me the Texans problem has always been QB, so to take a defensive player both times you have the no.1, well. Not good.

they should have took Vince Young or one of this years QB's that were all highly questionable?

Of course not, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Case Keenum are going to hoist the team onto Arian Foster's broken back and swing for the first pick fences two years on the bounce.

Well I believe Fisher destroyed Young's confidence, but that's beside the point. Rather then taking Mario Williams v.2 maybe moving down and gaining picks could have helped the rebuild. But I'm sure they won't regret it.

They probably thought no matter who we take it will help us. They are rebuilding although I think their defense could be pretty darn good.

Well they did take David Carr; but then neglected to build a O line and he got destroyed. Set a record for QB sacks and hits in a 4 year period(250 sacks and who knows how many QB hits). Now clearly some of that was his fault but mostly a very stupid GM and Owner who thought the O line was not very important.

If a coach destroys a QBs confidence, then that QB is not that great. The great ones are confident no matter the circumstances. Confidence was never Vince Young's problem. It was the inability to read a defense.

Houston may have tried to trade down, but couldn't get good enough value in return.

I used to be a fan of JJ Watt. He is a talented player, but there were two incidents of his that have cause me to sour on him. First was two seasons ago when the Texans all worth letterman jackets and promptly got spanked by the Patriots. Watt did a few interviews calling people dumb for blaming the loss on the letterman jackets and saying they don't know football yet I never heard anyone actually blame the jackets. Second was last year when he broke his nose and how he treated the trainer. I didn't think that was very sporting of him.

I think he let his temper get the best of him in that trainer incident. Maybe he apologized? I don't know but he was wrong. That was a nasty injury. I don't think he broke his nose but it was a gash on his nose that never healed. I think he ended up having to get plastic surgery on that.

The jacket stuff was STUPID.

I'd be surprised if teams weren't cutting their arms off to get Clowney.

I'm just not a fan of fisher and blame him for a lot. Might be wrong about Young, but got the impression VY was forced on him and wasn't going to just take.

Eh, he didn't need to put his hand on the back of his head, nobody likes that.
