As promised, and endlessly harassed by Zrinkill to do here is my thread on CMpunk situation.

It is late since I did not watch RAW as that boring idiot is champion so I simply forgot to check the wrestling threads, but here we go.

CM Punk resigned on Money in the bank as he disclosed on a podcast, ESPN's Bill Simmons podcast a few weeks back. He said he did not make up his mind to stay or go until he heard the plans for the MITB night, since he resigned they went with this storyline. He did not disclose how long he resigned for, but he did state he resigned.

CM Punk had full intentions of leaving, as he believed he was being mis-used, most of the reasons were then incorporated into storyline's.

CM Punk stayed as the writers IQ points must've grown 50 or so points so instead of booking for 6 year olds they started booking for 16 year olds, well at least until they gave the championship to that idiot.

Either way, CM Punk did not leave WWE, I was wrong, but at the time I stated it I was correct. CM Punk said so himself multiple times, was he working everyone? Possibly, but I highly doubt it as nearly every credible wrestling-news outlet reported he was leaving, and Wrestling Observer reported after MITB he resigned and didn't makeup his mind until that day.

So you're wrong but you weren't wrong? Is that the basic premise of this? You were wrong but when you said it you weren't really wrong so it shouldn't count?

Either way I'll congratulate you on at least making a thread, of any kind, taking any sort of ownership for being wrong, and yes you were completely worked on this deal by Punk and I have no doubt of that in my mind, and that is commendable. I probably spelled that wrong but that's how it goes. :)

If I was wrong, atleast I was with good company. Doubt it all was a work though, WWE doesn't think that far in advance. His contract really did end a week before MTIB, he signed an extension for that in june. Right before the angle began.

:lmao2:

You called it Braveheart.

I am not surprised at all.

Interesting as in how far some people will argue over some made up sport and get all butt hurt with each other over it?:

:laugh2: Always talking about peoples butts and their physical condition.

I know you would never lower yourself to arguing with a tool on a message board (cough cough Burm)

Over something as silly as wrestling...uh...no. Over something as important as (pick other trivial topic)...sadly yes.

Wrestling...fake sports...is not worth it.

Thing is it was not over wrestling ...... it was about a bratty little know it all calling me a liar.

And I think wrestling is much more important than anything you, me, Burm, and the legion of banned trolls ever argued about on that other forum section that cannot be named.

But hey ..... thanks for coming in to tell us how stupid and fake wrestling is ....... now back to the Game of Thrones forum with ya.

:laugh2:

You rip on me for making the thread after ripping on me for being late, and harassing me for a month to do so?

Come on man. You know why he ripped on you for this thread, and you know why others might as well.

It's a pretty backhanded thread when you make the comments come where you obviously trying to say "I was wrong but I wasn't really wrong. CM Punk just changed his mind on me."

You didn't come in and just say you were wrong, you missed on this, and go with that. You said you were wrong with the disclaimer that you weren't wrong at the time.

I honestly can't believe you're surprised that he's called you on it and is giving you a hard time on it.

I am done with it ...... he has proven what type of person he is.

Yep. Someone who does what they say they will.

Thank's for noticing.

Bad move Brian. Never have a caveat of why you were wrong. Say you were, leave it alone. It earns you respect when you can "man up." You just chickened out. Bad move.

I explained the situation, imo it's better than a thread that simply says "CM Punk didn't leave WWE".
