I explained the situation, imo it's better than a thread that simply says "CM Punk didn't leave WWE".
Then your opinion is wrong. You lost respect where you could have gained some. Worse, you can't get it back now.

I've always preferred an explanation than a statement. Some people may differ, I just did what I would've preferred. If I lost respect so be it, I lived up to my word and thats more than enough to me.

If it's ok with you guys Im going to give my opinion on the CM Punk sitch. Never wanted to get involved with these convos becuz some people are know-it-alls in their own minds.

Let me start by saying that Ive watched professional wresting for well over 30 years. Started with watching the Von Eric's and Freebirds go at it every weekend when I was about 5 yrs old. Only stopped watching for a couple of years when it got boring(before the nWo and Attitude Era kicked in).

Im giving my wrestling watching resume' so some people won't try to claim there is no way I can know enough to give an honest opinion.

This is what I think went down:

Im almost positive CM intended to leave for good. He was held back for many years and that frustrated him very much. NOW, even though I say this I seriously doubt he wasn't resigned until MITB. Come on now....let's use some common sense here.

Vince McMahon is not stupid. He will not allow a match to be booked for a Superstar to go over and win the top Title in the company if that Superstar is not signed past that night. Example: Bret Hart/Survivor Series/Montreal screwjob. I do not care what anybody says, there is no chance in hell he will allow this to happen on his watch.

Also, McMahon will not allow a Superstar to "shoot" on a live mic on live RAW where he buries his family. Thats what is called a worked shoot. If this were a real shoot, the mic would have been shut off after his first sentence and the screen woulda went blank.

I truely believe CM Punk was signed a few weeks BEFORE the infamous "shoot" was done. Because, again, there is no way McMahon would even allow a Superstar to boast on a live mic that his contract is up in "such-and-such" time. Again, I've been watching this stuff for 3 decades and Ive never seen this done. The closest I've ever seen was back when Nash called out Bischoff on a live Nitro asking why he fired Syxx(Bischoff's look and studder were priceless), but that could have been a work as well.

All the interviews Punk has done claiming he didn't sign until the day of MITB are just works to get the angle over. How smart would it be for him to say "oh yeah...I was resigned weeks and weeks ago but we have to say this for storyline sake"?

People want to dub this as "Real" Era or whatever. I do not think McMahon and company give a crap what it's called, as long as people are tuning in and buying tickets. And they have finally got smart and are letting the best in company do things that work...get it?

;)

Ladie and Gentlemen...boys and girls of all ages...what we are witnessing is a return to KAYFABE!!! With a 21st century twist. They are taking the internet reports and rumors and using them to their advantage. Hence the interviews Punk has been doing, etc.

I prefer to see it this way. Im sure a lot of you guys don't...

Theres a difference between an explanation and a built in excuse so that you don't have to appologize for being wrong.

The fact that you don't know the difference here shows how much you've got to learn.

You will. Eventually.

Technically you didn't live up to your word. You admitted nothing other than the fact that CM Punk said he was gonna leave you believed him, then he changed his mind because the WWE did what he wanted so in consequence it made what you said wrong, but when you said it you weren't wrong.

Zrnkill told you from the start that he may leave the company but that WWE was going to most likely keep him. then has events started to unfold from the little rant, to the suspension, to the MITB, you refused to accept the fact that CM Punk wasn't leaving, you refused to budge from that notion. Instead of you admitting defeat early and saving yourself from the embarrassment you acted younger than what you are, and trying to hold on to something that was not going to happen. You tried to argue with someone that knows a little bit more about wrestling than you. You can read all the magazines that you want, but that will never give you the knowledge of a fan who has watched wrestling for decade +.

You have constalty tried to slam the WWE in favor of TNA and saw a perfect chance to show off how bad the WWE was and how great TNA was. You were wrong about CM Punk, the manly thing to do would have been to say you were wrong. Instead you took the dirty cowards way out and tried to "explain" the situation.

This is the situation whether you believe it or not, CM Punk was going to leave the company, you adamantly said that no matter what the WWE does CM Punk was leaving. CM Punk agreed a long time ago to come back once the WWE agreed to let him become what he should have been awhile back and that was a main eventer. So they allowed this "Contract negotiation" to play out on TV to attract more viewers and up the ratings. You being inexperienced wrestling fan took what you saw at face value, you therefore became even more adamant about CM Punk leaving. Zrnkill understanding that it was all a "worked shoot" and that CM Punk was going to stay called you on it, and after months go by, and you finally give up and realize that CM Punk isn't leaving you make this pathetic thread that in fact has only made you look worse than you started.

Nice try though kid, you still got some work to do.

That's exactly the situation I explained.

Thanks bro. I knew it was a worked shoot, day after it happened I posted that. Was just so excited by the awesomeness I wanted to believe the night it happened. FYI, i've watched for a decade plus. I'm sure had I said 3 years ago Jeff Hardy was leaving Zrinkill would've denied it.
