Jerry C'mon Man!!!! we need DBs rumor has it Philly is going to get rid of Asante Samuel... and if Philly needs a LB for this give them Brady James. We have a lot of good young LBs to take his place. What are we waiting on go get him. Also trade Tashard Choice to Cleveland and get Peyton Hillis.. with Murray, Tanner, and Hillis in the backfield that would boost our running game. C'mon Man lets make a move quick finally for once!!!!!

Why would the eagles trade within the division. Also Samuel is not a man cover CB, he is a zone corner and Ryan has his guys play man.

Our CBs are playing pretty good now that everyone is healthy in the secondary.
I wouldn't want Samuel, maybe make the lopsided trade for DRC but not for Samuel.
This isn't Madden, can't just trade a crap player for a good player.

Why would we want Hillis, he hasn't done anything this year. Lead the NFL in fumbles last year and now has a puller hamstring.

I would find it incredibly stupid for Dallas to do anything to help the Eagles out at this point. Our corners are doing a very solid job and there is no reason to bring in a Zone guy to blow tons of coverages, taking chances, in man coverage here just so we can give the Eagles a solid linebacker to help them out.

I say just cut choice and play Tanner. You worried about fumbles Hillis lead the NFL in fumbles last year so get ready for even more if we made that trade.

I don't think we should go after him because I don't think he is available. I'm just saying I would rather trade for a CB that fits the style Ryan runs than trading for a player that doesn't fit the scheme.

An excellent point and a big part of the reason that the Eagles are struggling on defense this year is because they just picked people up with no regard to how well they'd work within their scheme.

Samuel hardly tries to make tackles. He usually runs away from the ball carrier. That was one of the few times I have seen Samuel stick his head in there and of course he lowered his head, which you never should do.

Babin fits the scheme because Washburn ran the Wide 9 in tennessee with him. But in a wide nine you have to have a run stuffing DT which they don't haev and you have to have 3 very good tackling LB, which the Eagles don't have one. Cullen Jenkins fills the role of the pass rushing DT in the wide nine but they have to have a NT type next to him to stop the run.

Also in the wide 9 you have the CBs play zone. They went out and got Nnambi who has never played zone in his career.

Also you need a good tackling SS, which was Mikell but they let him walk.
