Lost among the copious points and good cheer from Sunday's 31-7 win was a troubling quality from 8-8s gone by:

The Cowboys still struggle with red zone rushing.

DeMarco Murray made some long runs between the 20s and the offensive line provided better blocking along the line. When the Cowboys got near the goal-line, however, the burder again fell on Tony Romo to finish the drive. He completed Dallas' first touchdown to Dez Bryant after a line plunge failed. He tried an unsuccessful fade to rookie Gavin Escobar on Dallas' second drive, when a second DeMarco Murray dive was stuffed.

Murray finally finished the Cowboys' third drive with a short run to the pylon, but the next time Dallas entered the red zone, on the teams' first drive of the second half, Bill Callahan and Jason Garrett showed that they've added a personnel package to help Romo out.

That personnel package is the 02, one which is becoming increasingly popular among teams. The set uses two tight ends, three receivers and no running backs. Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden dissected the 02 in detail when the Bengals used it in their matchup with the Steelers, putting Jermaine Gresham and Tyler Eifert on the field with Cincy's top three receivers.
