I thought about this a while back and wanted to see what you guys thought.

Do you think it would be possible or even plausible, if both coaches agreed, that Wilson and Garret could be co head coaches. Thus, enabling both of them to only focus on their sole areas of expertise.

I trust Garret with the offense still and Wade is a proven commodity as a defensive coordinator, but I dont think either has the fire or motivational ability to ignite the team as a whole. I felt like the second half of the game yesterday was a microcosm of the second half of the season. No fire, no determination and no sense of urgency. It made me wonder if maybe each coach could stick to their strength and prepare only their sides of the ball if they could put a little more effort into motivation.

If not, this team really needs to go get a Ray Lewis type player for the defense. I am tired of watching our defense lay down.

The whole Co-coach thing sucked on our offense with Jason and Tony both assistant head coaches...

I don't expect to see Sparano around these parts next season. I expect a real line coach to be brought in and for Garret to get 100% control of the offense.

Do you mean PHILLIPS and Garrett? If so - you're off your nut. Otherwise...

If you're seriously entertaining this idea, might as well do this...

HC - Jones (gulp)
OC - Garrett
DC - Phillips.

No way you can have to HC's because if there don't agree on something, you need a tie breaker. The only person above these two guys is the GM/Owner.

I think this is a horrible idea. The only part I like is having Phillips as the DC.

I like the idea, and I've thought of it too. Basically its what we have anyways...Wade controls defense, Garrett controls offense.

Making Garrett co-head coach would be a way to promote him to keep him around, and not demote Wade.
