Did he draft Stafford’s replacement, or did he bang on about how much he loves him? You already see what he did with Goff who - say what you want - got him to a SB and has proven to be a pretty good player.

I like what Parcells said, “You’re not just competing with the guys on the roster. You’re competing with anyone I can get my hands on.”

There are many, many ways to instill a healthy respect. But focusing on McVey, I don’t see him getting too too personal with the players, nor is he attached to any one player. So…

It's early so time will prove either way if he's a good HC or not. But honestly, I have liked what I have seen from him so far. He may come across a little goofy at times but he seems to get the players individually and they seem to respond to him in a good way. And he seems to really know football and how to teach it. He seems to have a plan to get players and the team better in place and moving in the right direction as well.
He also seems to understand he needs good coaches around him to make that plan happen and I think he has brought some good ones in.

The guy has been around A LONG TIME. If you're an astute observer on any level you don't hang around this long and not pick up a bunch of knowledge and insight. Some of the greatest minds in history were late bloomers.

Fans seem to want a yelling screaming in your face coach.
That does not work.

If we had that type of coach, the same fans would find fault with that.

I don’t think anyone here can accuse me of being a Dak coddler. You seem to think that you can’t say anything positive at all about Dak. Even when I criticize him at the same time. I don’t do a lot of criticizing because these boards are dominated by it, so no need to add to it. Much is justified and much more is irrational hatred.
