COACHES are to BLAME!

Can you at least change it to something pronouncable?

GROT or GROP...

I don't like the lack of continuity and inexperience within the assistant coaching ranks of the organization. I wonder how much time Bill is spending getting them up to speed, and how much they are costing us in ways that are largely invisible to the average fan.

Before the season the organization spoke about 'now' being the time (Bill's contract/age, Bledsoe's age,WR's age etc.), but the coaching ranks were not in lockstep with this timing, almost undergoing what might be termed a rebuilding phase with so many new faces and changes of duty.

I have been wanting to get rid of BP since the middle of his second year. He is not going to lead us anywhere. His legacy here will be one playoff appearance and one playoff loss. Only Dave Campo did worse in Cowboys lore and he was given a team with less talent, no draft picks and no cap space. Even Chan Gailey did better.

.. that we should try to cover backs who go out on pass routes? I'm so sick of seeing guys taking five-yard swing passes and turning it into 15.

Force changes? Like what? I don't think you are implying a new head coach but maybe...

I hope no one is forgetting the days of Switzer, Gailey, and Campo. Those were some really lame years. Maybe a new coach would be able to do something, but it could be much much worse.

We had every opportunity to execute, but the players did not make the plays. We can't get out of our own way. Until we can, we aren't going anywhere.

Gailey and Switzer had more success here than Parcells has...

what was bad before Parcells got here was the drafting of players and the coaching on the field...Parcells has got us better players, but we see the same meeiocre results

this team is not a 4-4 team, its 4-4 because he has done a terrible job coaching and hiring assistants

I dont see how you blame the coaches for false starts, bad holds, dropped passes, dropped Int's, etc.

because it happens all the time, thats why

its always something...bad defense, bad tackling, bad angles to the ball, dropped balls, missed blocks etc etc

eventually you have to put the blame on the guy calling the shots

We have coaches?? That blocked FG said it all. FG protection is like pitchers covering first base in spring training drills. It should be automatic.

zimmer sends the whole freakin defense on a blitz and leaves sellers out in the flats for an easy first down. so stupid.

Once again he leaves a safety who cant cover man to man alone vs a WR and Dallas pays as Roy gets toasted.

i agree. the playcalling was horrible today.

This is ridiculous. Especially for the offensive side of the ball.

Stats:

Total yards: 378
Passing yards: 267
Rushing yards: 111
3rd down conversions: 10/16
T.O.P: 31:28
Penalties: 11/153
Turnovers: 0

Coaching huh? Bill Parcells and Co. didn't hold anyone and didn't have a single false start in the game either.

sending people at the QB would be great if he designed schemes that freed guys up, but our blitzes NEVER work

be honest, when was the last time we saw a blitzer with a free shot on the QB?

I sit here and watch football all the time on Saturdays and Sundays and see other teams do it all the time, but we never do

our blitzes are easily seen by the opposing teams and easily defeated

MENTAL ERRORS. That is what killed us. Nothing coaches can do about that.

Coaches can do everything except get on the field. At that point it is up to theplayers to execute.
