As you know we have several staff in the cowboys organization whose name has come up for jobs as coaches or in the front offices!!

On the other hand, does anyone feel that this is a distraction to that candidate as his team is focusing on success in the playoffs??

I like how DQ is being up front with us, but still who knows if they have something worked out already. Give me your thoughts on this please

I believe it’s BS that the NFL allows other teams to “request an Interview” on teams that are still in contention.. in the playoffs, no less.

It’s obviously a distraction and leads to questions that potential coaches have to answer. It’s should be mandatory that a coach can not be contacted until after their season ends.

yes it is, and nfl should not allow interviews until after a team is out of playoffs.
The way it is right now is quite stupid.

Cursory knowledge of said team and drop a plan of action with a smirk on your face and yo yo yo.

Agreed 100%.

I'm all for allowing coaches to move on to better positions....after the season is over for their current team.

Ok .So let's see how mentally tough we are ..eh ?

This comes with the price of winning ... Amazing how Pats had to go thru it and actually coordinators seemingly every year or two .. but managed to fill in the coach gaps
and keep it truckin''' ...

- Seattle with ..Dan Quinn... Gus Bradley ....

- KC Chiefs with Doug Pederson ...Matt Nagy ....

- Heck remember how It happened in the Jimmie dayz ....with da winning ways ? ... Norv, ....Butch ....Wanstedt ...Tony Sprarano ...

laaaawrd help us ...even Dave Campo ... uggh !!

Its part of the game but Jerruah could always deny their request. But teams have to start planning a team and staff earlt. If anything the league should introduce a policy which prohibits any coaches new hires until the bye week of the super bowl. Coaches can interview once they fire a coach or looking to fill a position but they cant make any offical hires until then. This will give current coaches who was in the playoffs on playing in the super bowl time to prepare or an oppurtunity without fear of lost of job.
