Coaching ruining talent?

I know this isn't the case with every player, but still...

Dak as a rookie, great....gets worse with time.

Zeke as a rookie, great...gets worse with time.

Anthony Brown, Jourdan Lewis, Maliek Collins, Chidobe Awuzie....

I can only hope this doesn't happen with LVE or Jaylon Smith...

I feel the longer these guys get "coached up" the worse they become.

I agree. I don’t really see anyone becoming better based off of this coaching staff. Seems they stay the same.

The only ones who clearly got better were Tyron, Romo and Lawrence.

i thought the same thing. its amazing how so many players over the years tend to regress with us. You pretty much named most of them because Awuzie immediately came to mind. Looked like a budding star last year, now not so much.

Partially...but fans also overrate their own teams’ players. I made a thread in the off season stating that the Cowboys have middle of the road talent and got killed for it by most on the board...still think I was right.

it's mostly just the offensive players I feel sorry for. the defense has hope with Kris Richard taking over things.
