What's the question? I don't think Moore is holding back the offense really. That makes no sense considering how effective they have been on offense the last two years. Do I love Moore's offense? No but it is hard to argue with points scored. His offense may be designed for Dak. Throwing to stationary targets helps Dak because has hasn't been great throwing at moving targets. Accuracy has always been an issue for Dak. I think the 49ers are vulnerable over the top and while Dallas tried a couple of times, 1 successful, 1 misfire by Dak, they did not try it often enough. It is not Dak's strength.
Also, you have to factor in the offensive lines. I though the Cowboys defense, did a really good job beating the 49ers offensive line in the first half. In the second half the 49ers did a better job attacking the Cowboys weaknesses. For example, running up the middle with Gallimore in the game instead of Hankins. Running to the right when Dlaw was out and to the left when DLaw was in. Once the 49ers started committing 3 guys to block Micah, and throwing a lot of quick inside passes, they started to convert 3rd downs. Quinn should have been blitzing Purdy a lot more than he did to take some of the attention away from Micah. But there is no disguising the Cowboys weakness in the middle of the DL.
On defense, I question why Gallimore was active and Bohanna not? No, Bohanna is not a great player. He is another JAG, but he is better than Gallimore at clogging the middle. On that CMC run up the middle for a TD, Bohanna and Hankins should have been in on that play.
A couple of other thoughts, Deebo's run after catch is better than CeeDee because the 49ers design plays specifically to give him the opportunity to run after the catch. CeeDee is a wideout and gets a lot of passes where he comes back to the ball.
I am going to say something controversial about Purdy. He is Ben DiNucci with a system designed to make the game easier for him. The 49ers have done a great job making it as easy as possible for the rookie. The Cowboys showed that he can get rattled. But they have coached him well to throw the ball away and worry about the next down. The 49ers do a lot to protect him and give him a pocket to throw from. Dak, and Romo before him, are always looking to make a play even when one isn't there. Sometimes throwing it away is the best play. Brady is a master at it.
I think the Cowboys are better than the sum of their parts. Is that coaching? The Cowboys were in this game and if not for Dak's INTs the score would have been much closer. That's why I think these two teams are even matched. If Good Dak plays, they win. Good Dak did not play and it hurt the Cowboys team.
