This is what they do and have been doing it for 30 years. Its nothing new.

This team has made a habit of starting slow every week. You can't spot the other team double digit leads and expect to win.

- Down 21-0 to the eagles.
-Int on the first drive against the Chiefs and then a quick 7-0 deficit.
- Trailed 20 to 9 last night at half and the offense was terrible in the first half.
 
....that night was on Uberjoke. Should have known his WAYS would show up again.
His logic about defense is opposite, what offense is doing. Its bizzare.

Shotty would have found ways to score. Ferguson did not help, obviously.

Even with OL not giving Dak enough time, he still made plays.
 
The 30 second coaching search the FO put in this offseason produced a mediocre staff. Shocked I tell you. But Jerry is comfortable and the team is relevant so all is well at the Star.

What difference did it make if they went for it or not, they couldn't cover a kick return. Detroit was going to score no matter what they did.

Yes that is what I was thinking during and after the game !
The one thing that is on shotty, was they didnt give the 2 tackles any help at all the whole game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was clear neither one could handle Hutchinson, or some of their other guys, and shotty could have given them TE help, not chip lol but just block !
There is no sense in calling deep pass plays or having 4-5 receivers, and dak gets sacked or pressured in 2-3 seconds !
This went on all night ! lol it was pathetic. they threw to their RB, we didnt and when we did it wasnt schemed good enough to work.
Bad game plans on offense and defense, and in general bad effort by the players., and bad coaching and planning for this game and detroit.
It isnt rocket science, some of it is just common sense lol.

They had Fergy helping Nate several times, but decided it was better to have him out in the field turning the ball over. :muttley:

just because they go for it doesnt mean they will convert it, they could have failed and wound up with less points,or about the same overall.
The fact they would not help the 2 tackles with TE blocking too, just really hurt our offense.

Then the one play where nate just acted like he didnt have to block his guy, and he came free and sacked dak lol you cant have that kind of crap.
 
This is not the fourth game you want to have in 17 days...is it? The schedule lately has been kind of brutal. But, we were outcoached. You saw it play out on the field. We had few answers to what they were doing. They imposed their game plan and will on us.

The difference is momentum if you score a TD there - Momentum is a huge thing!
 
Bland keeps getting taken off his feet trying to tackle . Normally his strong suit is tackling and coverage . Need an off season of training on footwork balance msn is too young and now has a fresh contract . Need to improve sir .
 
I mean really who on this staff is really good at what they do?
 
3 things killed this team last night

Poor KO coverage

Deplorable pass protection

Inability to match up with Detroit’s speed on offense - we just don’t have the athletes to compete right now on that side of the ball.

Not coaching - in my opinion
