The Cowboys had advantages against the Eagles and KC. Much different story at Detroit.

No way you kick the FG at the end there when we could not cover kick returns and we were not playing D at all. Got to go for it on 4th and 3 there - Just stupid!

Yeah I was like at that point in the game go for it. Now way I was trusting this defense and kick off coverage that was terrible all game long. But then again if we did get the TD the defense wasn't stopping the Lions from scoring as we've seen so it's all a moot point.ssssssss

The thing I hate worst is we don't do nothing about it when players are struggling.

Example Nate Thomas was getting beat like a drum last night. This is the LT protecting the QB's blind side. What did we do? Hardly anything to help him. There was some chips and etc but far too often we left him on an island. There was one play where Dak knew Thomas was going to get beat quickly so Dak used Thomas as a human shield by just running to the opposite side of him lol.

We really need to have a better back up LT plan then a 7th round guy where this is basically his rookie season. I kind of wondered why we haven't kicked Tyler Smith to LT spot and get our 5 best olineman on the field. Your worst olineman can't be the guy protecting the QB's blindside. That is just a terrible coaching decision, especially when Tyler Smith can play LT. That is what was great about him in the draft he played LT in college and some for us before.

And don't get me started on how Turp has been a huge disappointment as 3 WR. He makes no plays on offense. And on returns he is started to make a lot of bone headed decisions.

And then K9 at linebacker has been a big failure. But I guess we don't have anything better to replace him.

This is the crap that drives me insane.

Go pick up a MLB from Baltimore or Pittsburgh's practice squad. They will give you 110% more effort than this.

special teams- aubrey and goodwin only positives, but just kick the ball into the endzone of kick offs. Not sure what turpin is doing on returns anymore.
Defense- no blitzs or dbs so off the ball and for goodness sake take murray out. He is out of position to make a play and can't shed a block.

offense- more tds but shouldn't be losing scoring 30 pts

This team was not mentally ready for Detroit yesterday and got dominated

Well, the Lions did score 14 more points after that, so I don’t see how it would have made a difference.

Our defense was destroyed last night. Our pass rush was non-existent. There is one single key to beating Goff and that’s putting hits on him and making him run. We left him standing there like a statue for most of the game.

Now, one could argue that Eberflus should have called more blitzes, since our actual d-line can’t get pressure.

And, of course, no one on defense seemed to remember how to tackle. Guess we could coach them up on that.

We haven't noticed how bad our special teams are outside of the kicker and punter because the defense has been so bad the focus was on them. But The Cowboys rarely make a stop on a kickoff inside the 30 and often allow returners to get to the 35. On the other hand, Turpin rarely gets to the 35 and often is stopped inside the 20. Field position was a big issue in last night's game.

Detroit's average starting position for their first 11 drives was their 44 yard line. Twice they started on Dallas's side of the field. 7 times they started outside there 35. 5 times they started beyond their 40 yard line.

Dallas average starting at their 28 yard line. Only 2 drives started at their 35 or higher. 10 of 11 drives started inside the 35.

Detroit had a huge advantage in starting field position last night.

It’s shocking how bad Eberflus is. He came from the NFC north. He should be familiar with the personnel/schemes. 3 worst games have been vs the NFC north. This coach isn’t doing the team ANY favors.
