It is so cold...here in Utah. Freezing, Lot's of snow. Cold down in Texas! The two teams have to play in cold weather? This is a Cowboy road trip. The atmosphere, the game....? Monday Night? It's going to be freezing! A typical game up there, but a COLD game.

If the Cowboys can come home with a win in those conditions, they are going to have to really work for it. The Cowboys need to go looking for Bears! Not the other way around, don't let the bear get you. Make a Bear rug out of one and give it to Hatcher to calm him down? lol

This is the part of the team that I like to watch. To see if they can go play this type of game. I think they have a chance.

How many of you guys have gone Bear hunting? Who has a Bear rug?

Remember these Bears won't be tied to a tree, so don't miss!

My redzone advice

I do think this team is a lot more mentally tough than teams in the past decade or so. They started showing last year that they have mental toughness and it has continued into this season.

That NY game was a test that they passed and this is going to be another one for them.

If they win in Chicago it is going to bode really, really well for the team. It is going to be a terribly tough game to win.

Everyone says Dallas must go play in the cold, advantage Bears. Well Chicago has to play in it too.
Does the cold weather teams really have that big of an advantage. I'm not really sure that they do anymore.
Maybe I'm off a little on it in my thinking, but if you really think about it, how big of an advantage is it.
But a good running game go a long way in bad weather.

Da Bears don't run around Chicago when the wind chill is below zero without wearing coats. They are going to be just as cold as the Cowboys on the field Monday night.

Too different for them to adjust to this type of game.

I think this starts their slide.

Hope not but realistically..hmmm

I honestly dont see why weather is going to be such a huge factor. Just because the Bears are from Chicago doesnt mean their players are. How many games have they played this season in freezing weather? How many of our players have grown up excelling at football in cold weather? Its not like a bunch of Aztecs playing Eskimos in the Artic Circle. Though an advantage, I dont think its as big as its being made out to be.

Is the cold going to turn the Bears into a juggarnaunt?

Because this Bears team is coming off back to back losses to the Rams and Vikes.......................................not sure why so many folks are scared of the Bears.

The NFL is a game of matchups now. It's why a team like the Bucs can come within a few minutes of beating Seattle in Seattle and the Saints, who are clearly better get spanked by the very same Seahawks team. For me, this game represents a horrible matchp for Dallas if McCown can handle throwing in bad weather. Two massive wr's capable of breaking a game wide open and a physical runner who is effective catching the ball have all been known to cause this defense issues. If the Cowboys pull this off, I say they make the playoffs easilyy barring a catostrophic injury (Romo/T.Smith/Hatch).

I personally think it'll be a good game, Dallas plays well against inexperienced QB's, the Bears haven't been playing week in and week out in the cold and I think that advantage is way overstated. We played well in New York in the cold and wind and I think we will do the same tomorrow. I think we get a pick early and rattle the Bears, I also would like to see us get the opening kickoff and put points on the board. Field position will once again be big and I really hope Harris is a go.

The Bears practice in cold weather and they are just exposed to it more. May not be a huge factor/advantage, but it can't be ignored or just pushed aside.

Totally predictable from you...which is your right, of course.

Just curious what the odds where from you for Dallas to win in New York? 1 in 5? 1 in 10?

It's not just the weather..

we struggle against teams with winning records.

Teams that have equal to or better talent/coaching we lose to.

Just look at the reality.

Sorry..it's not me.

It's the team.

I don't know...1 in 5 at a pretty average Chicago seemed a bit harsh to me.
This team is not so bad to get that level of disrespect.
I think it should be a good game.

I'm just watching these games today and I just don't see Dallas coping very well.

For example..

..their practice fields get a little snow on them and they are running for cover to a better facility.

Oh my..

..perhaps playing on it..coping with it and getting players used to the conditions since you can't SIMULATE it...

Might have been wiser.
