The Cold Hard Football Facts website ranked all 32 franchises from a historical perspective. Slightly interesting read -- they have the Packers #1 and the Cowboys #2:

I can't argue with their logic with GB #1, however, I'd argue looking at the modern era only, I'd put the Packers behind Dallas, Pittsburg, and SF.

Had the Ice Bowl gone the other way and the Cowboys stopped Bart Starr on that famous sneak, I think, now, 40 years later the Cowboys would be #1 and the Packers #2. The game is just some fricking iconic -- it's hard to escape.
