Denver, New England (x3), Batlimore,, NY Giants (x2), Green Bay, Pittsburgh (x2).

Non cold weather teams: Indianapolis, Seattle, New Orleans

We struggled against the Giants in the cold.

The good news is if we can get HFA we won't play any cold weather games in the playoffs, including the Super Bowl in Houston. And if we can wrap it up before Week 17 where we play @Philly we won't have any more meaningful games out of Texas.

Edit: should have been 10 out of 13 forgot New Orleans.

Interesting stat.

I suppose it has to do with Cold weather teams being relatively OK traveling to warm weather / dome teams for playoff games, however, the reverse -- Warm weather / Dome team teams playing outside in cold weather stadiums in the playoffs being fairly tilted to the cold weather teams.

It also had a lot to do with the top 3 winningest teams of the last 20 years, the Patriots, Packers, and Steelers all being cold weather non-dome teams.

Also Seattle and New Orleans had HFA so Indy was the only warm weather team to go on the road and win 1 game @Baltimore their games vs New England and Kansas City were in Indy and they won the Super Bowl vs Chicago in Miami. So basically, warm weather teams that won the Super Bowl have 1 win on the road in cold weather in 13 years. I believe weather is a huge factor.

That moment you realize The Boys are a *gasp* dome team.

Reliant is a dome...

Seattle should be considered a cold weather team too. I think it has more to do with indoor vs. outdoor. Historically, indoor teams can't make it to the Super Bowl unless they get home field or at least host 2 games (2009 Saints, 2009 Colts, 2008 Cardinals, 2006 Colts, 1999 Rams, 2001 Rams).

The Cowboys are actually built well to endure the conditions as long as their coaches get their head out of their butts and stick to the game plan.

But in all seriousness, that's the difference. Cold weather teams generally build to play in cold weather because they may have a quarter of their season to play every year in it.

Did you not read my first post? I said the good news is if we get HFA we won't have to leave Texas. At least read before you troll.

Take it easy my post wasn't directed at you. It was a general snarky comment.. Did it occur to you that maybe I was just talking to myself? Geez....
