Aren't they that emotional crap?

I'm a hip-hop, Jungle (dnb), house, UK Garage, and 80's synth pop guy.

I'm an EDM guy and I'm older. If I don't ever hear Stairway To Heaven ever again I'll be fine.

Now Zeppelin was a pretty enjoyed group through the ages.

Heaven forbid someone should mention the Vanilla *****, Creme, Iron Butterfly, Janis or Jimmy, Doors, Moody Blues, Joe Cocker, Rolling Stones; or even Simon & Garfunkle; or even Soul Train.

I'm the god of hellfire, and I bring you...fiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrrre!

I look down on music you like. That's makes more cool.

*note this post is agnostic as to whether you like Coldplay

corporate pop rock.

they make some good tunes no doubt if you like that sort of thing.

pretty safe stuff. very safe.

better than all that trashville country or lame pop stuff they usually bring in though.

its kind of the same thing when U2 played the superbowl that one time after 9-11

superbowl XXVII with Micheal Jackson was the best one. 2nd U2. third Prince.

They can be safe, I didn't find Viva La Vida to be a very safe album. I thought it had a bigger scope than their slightly simplistic albums before it, but I do consider their follow-up to tread the same waters and playing it safe. I didn't care for "Ghost Stories" as a whole, but I also didn't consider that to be safe. I enjoy that Coldplay wears their influences on their sleeve, and "Midnight" shows their Sigur Ros/Bon Iver influences.

I would never consider them a favorite band of mine, but they are good for a great tune here and there. Just always found the hatred for them, the vocal minority that is, to be strange.

There is a functional difference in music and pure lifestyle and value sets. Watch out crossing lines with disregard of good values existing also.

Ok, when you say EDM, what do you mean? Dubstep? Trap?

As if he were into transcendental mediation as taught by Maharishi Yahesh Yogi.

You should hear the stereo in this one...

The home facility was helped also by the city of San Antonio as well. What a deal they had in the Alamodome next to the Grand Hyatt and Space Needle. All along the Riverfront.

well within the context of the coldplay discog im sure there are some differences but compared to a number of other big rock bands they are family friendly, extremely successful profit wise with their work and safe which translates to perfect for a superbowl halftime show. they record and play sing-a-long tunes.

id imagine people hate them for any reason people hate corporate pop rock. hate them because they are too predictable, there is an innocuous and insufferable presence to their work. very high and mighty about their presence too without having an album like Joshua Tree, Abbey Road, OK Computer, Dark Side of the Moon etc. in their discog.

agree with you though they are good for a tune here and there. Chris Martin wont be remembered for lyrics but for melodies in the end.

Hope to be moving to Frisco or close to it this year so I'll be spending a lot of time there.

Seriously?

I like chicken pox, measles, and mumps? :)

Or simply, Rap isn't near dead yet...

I grew up first, with Country and Hip Hop. And learned Classical making my way to All State Band for 3 years in Texas. My brother, rest his soul, was a Band Director prior to both of us changing directions and professional pursuits.

But a style selection is a personal choice...think?

Big money first went to Dallas...then Houston...then Austin.

Damn, son! I bet the homie has a gold rope ladder he uses to get up in that. When he washes the whip, he uses jewelry cleaner to clean it, and his teefs.
