They let him go because he gave up the 3rd down catch in the Greenbay playoff game to Devante Adams when they were both fighting for the ball and Adams kinda out muscled him for it. This was the series after the Dez non catch.

I never saw a good answer on that one. I do think there was something, like he did something to tick off the wrong person, parked in Jerry Jones' parking spot, wore a sportcoat and slacks when Garrett specified a suit, who knows.

Nothing official ever came out, but he sure had a quality season in 2014 and did not deserve to get shown the door in 2015 like that.

Yes, there seemed to be something more to the story.

He started 12 games for the Saints last season but can hold a bottom of the roster job this season. That seems slightly odd.

only question is can they afford to lose depth elsewhere to make room? QB or WR and they aren't risking losing Noah Brown

I always thought so, but I dont claim to be the scout some of these fellas here do. I thought he rose to the occasion when put in a pinch, our coaches never seemed to like him though.
