Even more impressive than Beasley's jumping ability is how quick his feet are when he cuts.
If he can develop a bit more with the timing and getting the proper angles so CBs can't easily come over the top of him he could be a legitimate slot WR.
The basic problem he has is that his only NFL skill is slot WR. He isn't a great returner and he doesn't play on ST units. So if he isn't one of your top WRs he doesn't help you at all in anyway. That is a tough way to make it in the league as a developmental player. Welker broke into the league as a punt returner and then proved his worth as a WR.
The problem right now is we will be dressing 4 WRs on gameday: Dez, Miles, Dwayne Harris and TWill. Is there a need to dress a 5th who will probably not play a single snap on offense, defense or STs?
At this point, he just may not have a position on this team. He has to prove he is at least the second best guy in the slot to make it.
