Beasley is a slippery underneath receiver and that is a trend in the NFL to have a guy out there like that. Patriots started it. Yeah, the big, tall, leaping into the air WR on the sides is classic, but lets be real, the little quick dude slicing across the middle, can be just as damaging. Beasley gets open, more than anyone else on this team currently. He has his place for now with this lackluster offense.

Ever since they changed the rules to favor WRs, that’s he trend, particularly with all the pick routes. Bigger DBs can’t touch WRs, so these little ones are making a killing..
