He's the only NFL WR on this roster man.
Dak was 7 of 8 for ~80 yards to Beasley.
That was basically the entire offense.

Leading receiver in our first game, by a mile. 88% catch rate. Beasley can stick around on my team.

There was talking of trying to resign him recently. They should have got it done in the offseason, before he had a chance to show what he can do. I expect a big year, and his price to go up.

A 23-year-old kid going through some personal stuff made a rash decision 6 years ago that he reversed within a couple days, and you're still holding that against him?

He was a bubble player, lacking confidence he could make in the NFL. Reasonable.

Considering the kinds of things we put up with from players, it's ridiculous to get on Beasley for that.

No. He plays his position better than 80% of the starters on this team and you want to get rid of him. What’s your issue with him? It can’t be the way he plays. You don’t like his rap? You don’t like his hair? Don’t let the non football stuff bother you.

Beasley is an over-achiever. He is 5-7, 175 and made it in the NFL. He doesn't even have freak speed like Tavon Austin or Sproles.

Dez is the ultimate under-acheiver. He had success only because of elite physical ability.

Beasley may not possess 'freak speed ' but by accounts of many of his teammates - he plays pretty damn fast.
