It is officially time to unleash the beast. KR? 3rd WR? Get this guy on the field. As previously stated, he and Romo were beginning to develop some chemistry towards the end of the preseason. If having Cole on the field will help cure Romo of his Wittentunnelvisionitis, I say get him on the field NOW.

I hate to say it and I will get bashed for this (like I care..lol) but we are a better more dynamic offense when Romo's boy is not on the field. It doesn't matter how you draw it up if Written is on the field.=ijsnowbashaway

was telling my coworker today we need to get him out there.

he catches everything thrown his way and gets upfield in a hurry.

he could have been our momentum changer sunday.

He has been on the field

I beg to differ. Spot duty is nothing compared to the time Ogletree has seen. Give him some legitimate time on the field and watch magical things happen.

"Romo's boy", barely did anything in pre-season when Tony was on the field. Most of his production occured in the 2nd half of games. If nothing else, I wouldn't mind seeing him return a punt or kick here or there. He cant be worse than Felix at KR's.

Give him split time with Ogletree and return kicks. I guarantee you that move will keep Ogletree productive. Never let them get too comfortable. Always maintain an aire of uncertainty. That will inspire production.

We will screw it up. Been saying for two weeks now he is our new move the chain guy. With Witten not himself, hopefully only injured, not "old", Beasly IMO is the guy.

We will wait and be stale, and then around week 5 and take off.

What the hell is the fascination with this guy? Really dont get it. Like Ogeltree has been real bad so far  #4 WR and KR is right about where Cole Beasley belongs in the NFL and hes done nothing to deserve more than that on this team.

And LOL at thinking the team is better without a Hall of Fame tight end in the game. Witten has 1 rough game while hes still injured and you write him off for good? ****

Some of you just don't get it... I laid the Written fascination out there to spark discussion. Chop it up as you will but Romo has an issue seeing the rest of the field when Witten is on it. Does that mean remove Witten? Noooooo.... It does speak to Romo's mindset when the oline decides to take a play or two off. We have many issues in a wide array of areas. This is just one of many.

Oh.. & about Beasley. He is going to be special if the coaching staff allows it. You will eventually come to understand and appreciate Beastley's talents.

i love witten as much as all of us do.

but the time has come to let hanna, cole, and others get more playing time.

romo has tunnel vision when witten is out there.

i hate to say this..but we probably beat the giants because romo was not trying to find witten on every other play.

i still want witten out there...just not as romo's primary target.

flame away.

Umm no Ogeltree > Beasley. He ain't getting off the bench.

Don't know why people think he's the enxt Wes Welker just cuz he's white.

My only prob with witten is exactly what you described at Wittentunnelvisionitis. Obv he is Romo's go to guy and who he trusts the most, but he has been known to lose track of other people and try to force it to Witten in bad spots. I would prefer him to sometimes force it to Austin, who is known to go up and make a play, and Dez, who can go up top with anyone, if he is gonna force it.

Lame.. lol

You will eventually see it too. Ogletree needs to be pushed. Comfort =mediocrity.

Thanks. At least someone gets it... When Romo makes those bad forced throws, who is he trying to thread it into a majority of the time? Hmmm. I would love to see the stat on that. I bet it's over 90% Written. Just an interesting observation that should not go unnoticed..

I get it too, mentioned it in another thread. Tunnelvision occurs too frequently IMO. Not saying remove Witten, but maybe cut down on the plays and see if it opens up the offense some. Of course, Romo needs the time to make those reads.
