Cole Beastly

I'm sure we'll also see 4 WRs at some point to really spread a defense...not a bad set to run the draw with Murray either.

And while I still have complete confidence in Witten, I'd like to see Hanna on some 3rd downs.

I think he needs to get more snaps as well... Kat quick and pretty explosive.

Beasley was awesome against guys now working at Chick-fil-A and veterans just trying to get through the preseason without injury.

Preseason is always full of Cole Beasleys, but when the lights come on for real, they disappear.

The truth is, the guy can't do anything but play slot receiver. He can't cover kickoffs or punts, and he can't play on the return team other than maybe a returner, and I sorta doubt that. (He'll get slaughtered.)

And I still can't get over the fact that he quit in the middle of camp. I wonder what all that was about.

How was that racist? :laugh2:

All I said is the truth that people seem to think just because he's white that he's the next Wes Welker.

It's like when people compare Griffin and Vick because they're both black or even Romo and Sanchez because they're both Mexican. It's ridiculous. Just because they're both the same race doesn't mean they're similar in any way.

I'm probably the biggest anti racist you'll ever find. All my favorite athletes are different races except Romo. Kobe, Shaq, Ware, Witten, Austin, etc.

I've never...ever heard anyone compare Romo to Sanchez. BTW, Romo is from Wisconsin.......

You are right. There are guys who shine in preseason that don't pan out. But there are also guys that shine in preseason that are worthy of a chance. Considering he made the final 53, I'm leaning towards Beasley being the latter type of guy!
