Guy did a good job holding his ground vs the run. People overlook this role in the defense until its missing and the floodgates are open. Hopefully Spears is ready and this injury doesn't hurt us too much.

Unless you are fortunate to find a rare athlete like Seymour, Watt or Ngata, most 3-4 defenses have DEs who essentially tie up blockers. It's just the nature of the defensive alignment.

Jonathan Hankins at Ohio State is that kind of athlete at 334 pounds and is pegged as a mid first rounder.
