Colin: Can Dallas win the NFC?

Colin has a great way of putting it in an unbiased perspective and gives great analogies but people will hate on him for absolutely no valid reason.

Nevertheless, our offense hasn’t changed - what changed is how teams play us defensively. Teams used to blitz Dak and have success, but then Dak got extremely good at reading the blitz and making the right read at a historically high level. If you go back and watch the last ~6 games you’ll notice that teams really don’t blitz him anymore; they send 4 or sometimes 5 (rarely). So now they play coverage and it’s mostly underneath coverage - so they’re basically daring him to beat them with [usually] a deep safety or 2.

It’s not ALL on Dak, yes it’s absolutely on him to make the right reads but he can’t run the routes and catch the ball for these guys. Why doesn’t anyone bring up the ridiculous amount of times CeeDee has dropped perfect passes, or the fact that throughout the entire year each of the top 4 WRs on this team have been out either due to injury or covid. The same can be said about the Oline as well. Tyron has been hurt the 2nd half of this season and he’s a huge piece to this puzzle. If he can’t stay healthy- we aren’t going to the Super Bowl. We’ll get embarrassed just like Mahomes and the Chiefs did last year vs. the Buccaneers due to their starting tackles not playing.

We could, but I don't think any team is afraid of Dak.

i'm mean technically they are which is why they are playing the defense that they are which is the type of defense teams started to play against the Mahomes

Third seems to be most likely. As it were, if we were playing the cardinals this week and beat them, we could actually go down one spot if it puts us in a two way tie with the bucs.

If this is what not being “afraid” looks like then I hope and pray the playoff teams stay that way…..

Watching Eli Manning really really made Tony Romo’s Team not afraid……..I think:lmao2::lmao2:

This franchise is going to click on all 4 cylinders again. They'll be hotboyz just in time for the playoffs.

Buffalo wins with 210 passing yards Allen
Arizona loses big with 257 Murray
Miami wins with 196 Tua
Dallas wins with 217 Dak
Tenn loses with 153. Tanneyhill
Jacksonville loses with 210. Lawrence
Cinn wins with 157. Burrow
Atlanta loses with 236. Ryan
GB wins with 268. Rodgers
TB loses with 210. Brady
Vegas wins with 236. Carr
Chicago loses with 285. Fields
NE loses with 299. Jones
KC wins with 410. Mahommes

Those are some big name QBs. KC is the only outlier. Not one QB threw for 300 yards except him. Some won; some lost; but they were all the passing leaders in their games, meaning the other QB threw for less.

It’s that time of year. Winter, cold, windy, but mostly, jobs and playoffs on the line. It’s about winning, not stats.

Hopefully we get to the playoffs and Dak lays it all out on the line and isn’t afraid to run etc. He will have the entire offseason to heal again if he gets hurt
