I don’t think anyone would be surprised if he got extended. Sadly……it is what it is….

I don’t like Colin but I feel he’s dead on accurate here. I truly feel the new vogue in the NFL will be QBs on rookie salaries and the teams being deeper. Except for Mahomes and the very elite QBs. But an adequate to good QB on a rookie deal with a stacked team may be the way to go.

We’ll see what happens to Hurts and Purdy when their salary begins to erode the talent on the team. We’ll see how good they look.

The thing that scares me the most is that coaches are telling Dak it's not his fault...like I hope Dak doesn't truly believe he isn't a big part of our issues. He just doesn't know how to read a football field very well. That's huge at this level and I feel coaches need to tell him that he needs to learn what defenses are trying to do if we want to do anything in the playoffs.

SF is doing right. QB on a rookie contract and surround him with high priced weapons. That’s what all NFL teams should strive to do. Of course you have to find that QB of course.
