They really need to go back to the conservative offense they ran with Rush. Too many spread plays are reliant on Dak and this is how it's going.

When you keep failing on 3rd/4th down your defense has to go back on the field. What's happened? Points allowed have risen.

How's our offense on 3rd down when Cooper Rush is playing?

Does anyone have that stat? We know it's better than Dak, but how much better?

That 3 & 4th down stat is also a 4 game sample size and does it include the 3 & 4 and short sneaks he had yesterday?

QB sneaks have nothing to do with being the least effective passer on 3rd and 4th down. We'll see if he gets better as the sample size grows, but right now it's bad.

Are yall still hating on noodle arms Rush? Remember that the Cowboyz were 195 - 0 when leading by 14 points in the 4th quarter before Dakota took this L.

Some of you guys act like QB’s are easy to find. I would be curious to see his overall completion percentage with the same metric over the course of his career and not just these 4 games. At worst I’d venture to say Dak is in the 14-18 range of NFL QB’s, at best he is 10-14 range which isn’t horrible and you can definitely win with that. My problem with Dak has always been that he wants to be paid top 5 money and he just isn’t in that tier of QB’s. He leveraged himself and got paid fault the front office for that contract.

Same thing happened in 2019 and 2021 during Dak’s stretch of horrible play. They become bottom of the barrel In third down efficiency.

Facts are, teams have figured out they don’t need to blitz, such as Denver onwards. They just show a look and drop back in coverage and Dak is out there staring down his first read.

Wrong.. this ‘trend’ happens annually for Dak during his ‘slumps’. Of course this author tried to defend the QB, as if the QB isn’t responsible for 1st and 2nd down either.

Over the last three games the Dallas Cowboys have ranked 31st in the NFL in 3rd-down conversion rate. They have inexplicably converted less than a quarter of their attempts.
