Wrong.. this ‘trend’ happens annually for Dak during his ‘slumps’. Of course this author tried to defend the QB, as if the QB isn’t responsible for 1st and 2nd down either.

When I said I thought Dak was in the 14-18 range at worst and 10-14 range at best I meant as whole not on completion percentage alone but as to where he sits as a QB in the NFL. That was my bad for not clarifying that.
As for your link, this was over the course of three games in 2021. Did you actually even read the article? No where does he state that Dak does this annually. You guys are so blinded with your Dak hate that’s it gotten to where it’s weird. And before you accuse me of being a Dak does no wrong person I’m absolutely not. I’m just not gonna point the finger solely at him. Him throwing 46 times yesterday is a recipe for disaster, he isn’t that kind of a QB in my opinion. Keep him under 30 balls in the air with a solid run game and that’s your best chance for success with him. Play to his strengths and not 50 passes a game like Mahomes because it will get you more losses than wins.

Maybe just me but last play in OT by Dak yesterday reminded me eerily of his last play vs SF last year in playoffs....deer in the headlights with some panic thrown in

Some of you guys act like QB’s are easy to find.
Isn't a reason to keep a guy who isn't that great around.
He leveraged himself and got paid fault the front office for that contract.
It is both his fault and the front offices fault. He is at fault for demanding the money when he knew he was not in that caliber. Instead all it's done is prevented the ability to have the team around him be what it needs to be to keep that running game potent and the defense strong.

Rarely agree with Cowherd but he pretty much nailed it.

Another funny thing I noticed about these sports shows. You can drop the needle anywhere, ANYTIME, and it’s Dallas! I’ve been clicking around random today, and EVERY SINGLE SHOW, an overpaid ex player is pontificating on the Dallas Dumpster Fire! Was that the only sporting event on Sunday? Bills lose, World Cup coming, CFB, NBA—was all that cancelled? Dallas Lost! The ONLY story!

If you have an above average QB that's a pretty darn valid reason to keep him around. Again it's hard to find good QB's and I'm of the belief Dak is above average when they play to his skill set and 46 passes a game is not.

Who isn't gonna maximize their payday. It's a violent game and your career can be over with the blink of an eye. It's not his problem to worry abt the salary cap.

QB sneaks have nothing to do with being the least effective passer on 3rd and 4th down. We'll see if he gets better as the sample size grows, but right now it's bad.

It shows he’s still moving the chains in other ways which affects the small sample size that’s the point
