OU-FSU is a great game. You can tell these guys apart from, say, TCU-Baylor because there's some actual, like, defense being played.

This game has the most hard hits I've seen in a college game in a long time.

Sooners had a chance to put them away early on and make 'em quit. They blew that and now have to hang on. FSU looked weak and over-matched until late in the third. Something a lit fire under their butts.

That should do it. FSU needs to move over for Wisconsin, imo...they have powerhouse team right now.

Impressive win by OU. That TD drive was one of the more impressive things I've seen from them in years. Past OU teams would've fallen apart after the 13-13 tie

Great game. Thrilling to watch.

Gratz to both teams. I was very impressed w/ the crowd. What a great atmosphere and a real nice crowd from whats been posted on our Sooner boards.

That's a place I would love to go see a game.

Oklahoma has a defense!! :D

FLST did an excellent job w/ our WR's. Broyles was hardly a problem for them. It was getting Kenny Stills back that really helped Oklahoma. That and T-Lewis getting to play again from injury.

Nice nice game

^^Yup, I got Oklahoma losing. It will be very impressive if they can pull out a win on the road like that since they usually don't have a history of winning these types of games.

Tennessee/Florida will be great. Tyler Bray is the real deal

Landry "Parcells" Jones took a step up today. Carrying his team on the road in crunch time with the stakes so high.

Anyone here know what the status is in Tulsa for Okie State? They aren't being broadcast in my area. I know the game is delayed due to weather (2 hours and counting) but is this something they think is going to end soon or are we looking at a rescheduling?

It's still being listed as 'delayed' on the channel I'm watching right now. No other update yet.

Now excuse me while I put on my burnt orange-colored goggles and give props to my Longhorns for an excellent effort today against UCLA (the very same team who was first to expose us last season when they whupped us down in Austin). Case McCoy passed for 168 yards and two touchdowns without giving up a turnover or a sack in his first career start, so I'm quite certain that the starting qb position is now his to lose.

I expected the Longhorns to win today but I didn't expect them to win in a rout. A very impressive performance all around from top to bottom. So looking forward to the RRS this year and the eventual YouTube video Dallas will have to post of himself while wearing a Longhorns cheerleading outfit as he sings "The Eyes of Texas" - once he loses the bet to me.

;)

Yes, the Sooners won...they may be the team I hate the most, but I want them to be undefeated when they play Texas....This way, if Texas beats them, and is undefeated after the game, a top 10 ranking should commence.

Plus, I am almost always happy when FSU loses.

btw, dont think I am looking past Iowa St. Normally a cream puff, they did whoop Texas down last year, and they look pretty good so far this year. Next week's game will definitely not be a cake walk.

However, I will say my confidence is through the roof compared to where it was when the season started......now that Gilbert Grape has been benched; McCoy, Shipley, and Brown are now starters; and Manny Diaz has the D bringin it.

I agree. The 'D' was without a doubt the most pleasant surprise of the day for me.

With the defense and ground game the Horns have they are definately back toward the top of the Big 12 already. They will be 9-3 at worst this season but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them finish 11-1.

I dunno...it's tough to judge Texas accurately right now. They've played against really bad offenses so far. Even BYU, who was supposed to be their toughest opponent after 3 weeks, got dominated at home tonight vs. Utah.

can we talk about that german kid from FSU for a second? did anybody see the jump he was getting off the ball? i had to go back and watch it a few times to see if he was off sides but he was just getting off the ball way quicker than everybody including the Oline

I keep my eyes on Robert Griffin III as he's the top of Heisman voting fans and pundits rights now, he was 20-22 before the Baylor- SFA game was called for weather in the third quarter with a score at 48-0.

Luck and Griffin are going to make two bad teams a pair of franchise quarterbacks next year, i can't imagine what he would do throwing to Dez Bryant, too bad Dallas is mediocre instead of bad, alas
