Were you at the Madison campus?

Good school.

LaTuna, you my friend are one heck of a football NUT! Does your hubby get sick of his wife always talking and needing a football fix? Or is he right in there with ya?

:flagwave:

He's playing tennis right now. And knows watching him got old a few years back. :D

What and who are you guys watching today and tomorrow?

Longhorns and Notre Dame. Only two programs I really follow, and even at that, not real close. If I dont have anything to do I willwatch either one. (infact I just watched a Notre Dame game led by Rick Mirer, from 92. Great game).

Notre Dame is first and then Longhorns btw.

So we're not exactly talking Agassi are we? :laugh2:

Don't look now but......

At Halftime:

TCU-10
OU-0

We all know it's not going to last and OU will end up winning by about 21 or so but it is pretty funny to see.

I'm showing him that. Andre is his GOD.

My husband is both a workaholic and a weekend warrior. A very gifted athlete who will be 40 in January and can not get it thru his head he can't pound away on a concrete court for hours anymore and not suffer the consequences.

He also took up table tennis a few years back to get him thru the winter.. a game I initially considered a bit wimpish..but which keeps him in incredible shape in the winter - he's at tournament level now - those I DO attend, as he needs to change shirts three times per match - those workouts are that intense. Never would have believed it. And I will never consider the sport 'effeminate' again.

But all the outdoor tennis this year he's had to return to physical therapy for ankle swelling and pain.

I was saddened to learn last week the diagnosis is NOT high ankle sprains tho...I might have learned something that could help me understand Fergy's condition if it had been.

Drat!!

Now let's get back to Santonio Holmes. :D

Exactly. I'm pulling for TCU though. Talk about a huge game for that TCU program. And if they some how some way pull this one out (highly unlikely) then it will be the biggest upset to start out the college season.

If TCU can score a TD first in the second half, then I like their chances.

Yep, undergrad and grad. Football team was unbelievably wretched during those pre-Alvarez years.

Ahh, now I get why you know so much about Pasqualoni..and don't like what you know. :)

Iowa now, Notre Dame later. They're the only two I really pay attention to. I was rewiring some lights outside, unaware it was on already and my wife called out and said "Iowa's on and they're winning." 49-0 at halftime over Ball State.

Sorry, Justin.:eek::

It's not just me - I speak for the entire city of Syracuse. We won't get into Pasqualoni again, I don't wanna get carpal tunnel.

The ABC games, Ohio St and then later it will be my BC vs BYU.

But I admit to switching over to Rutgers at the breaks. :)

When my niece was deciding between Rutgers and Rider about 12 years ago, she chose Rider. She said one of the reasons was because she couldn't go to a school where the teams were known as the Scarlet Knights.:D She was kidding though.

I never really paid them any mind, but I do notice when they win. Then I'll say to whoever's around, "Hey, Rutgers won."

Rutgers is as gooda football team right now as they have ever been. That is a terrible program but to their credit, they have a decent team this year and I think are going to win more than there token 2-3 games per year.

Nothing wrong with that. They're about due for a winning season, even if it's just squeaking over .500 like they did a couple of years in the early 90s.

I think they can seriously win 6 games this year which would be amazing for them. Just as long as one of them isn't against Syracuse.

;)

Watching the Bowling Green/Wisconsin game right now. And i'm anxiously awaiting the Virginia Tech/NC State game tomorrow, Marcus Vick's first career start. And of course Monday whos not looking forward to Miami/FSU

Watching Blow U right now, then I will watch some Tennis (Agassi) and then my Texas Longhorns tonight.
