He was recovering from a major knee injury. Had October visits with both New York teams but didn't pass a physical until recently. Hopefully he's in good enough shape to be a viable gameday backup.

It really depends on what the torn ACL in December 2022 has done to him. I mean, between hip, knee and back injuries, he may be a monster in traction.

Information suggests that he did a poor job both with staying in shape as well as rehabbing from injury with the Bengals. So much so that they cut him and took a huge cap hit.

And then it’s taken him this long to catch on with another team, after several visits.

Add it up, along with his reputation in college and there are a lot of warning signs.

Minimal risk for the Cowboys right now. But the return might be minimal as well.

I think he can I’m just dialing back expectations….chances of him being a “monster” are slim if he was a monster we would’ve never cut him. But that doesn’t mean he can’t help.
