That's just such transparent trash. It's not even entertaining. They just take turns yelling nonsense in different directions based on what's likely to gin up the most emotional response. Blech.

How so? Especially in this case? There was no yelling at all though there probably should've been with how bad that DA screwed over Collins.

Great take by Stephen A.

"I applaud Jerry Jones .. and I don't think I can ever be able to root against him again quite honestly."

"Today, the Dallas Cowboys truly are America's Team." -Stephen A. just now on his radio show

The only reason that I catch this show on occasion is due to the fact that it should be renamed "The Dallas Cowboys First Take". It is usually about 70% Dallas football, especially during the season.

I don't like the title at bottom, 'will the reward be worth the risk?'. How is it a risk? He's been cleared of a murder that he was never a suspect in. And we got a first round talent for free for near dirt cheap for 2-3 years. There is no risk.

This all based on that frame, not the video. Still at work so can't watch yet

That wasn't applied to Collins. They even said it did not apply to him. They said was the risk worth it on the other players, such as Gregory and Hardy.
I was actually surprised at this, very good to watch.

Skip saying he's still not been cleared to add fairness was complete garbage, he hasn't been cleared because they can't find any other person of interest which sucks for Collins. He's basically free but they have no other leads so they're screwed at the moment.

You all probably can't stand SAS. I know I can't. But you gotta love the message he brought.

What Jerry did for La'el Collins was above and beyond what other owners would have done for the young man. After hearing the young man talk and his mother was there to support him, it just cleared up any doubt in my mind that this man is not only innocent of any wrong doing, but that the entire world did him wrong by just associating him with the tagline "murder suspect" and it cost him millions of dollars.

That press conference proved without doubt that the world was wrong - and that this young man is going on a mission to make sure that the entire league will never forget what they did to him.

I don't care. What they think and say has no credibility. It's a proven fact. They lost their integrity a long time ago.
Take them for what they are. Entertainment. I do laugh at times and I appreciate them for that.

I for one think all 3 guys are of high character, no pun intended. Hardy is a high effort/motor guy, La'el seems like he has his head on right and can't wait to put a hat on and hit and even Gregory looks hungry and is saying all the right things. Most importantly for Gregory, what has he ever done besides fail a drug test? I mean people talk about him as if he was kicked off two teams, got arrested 4 times and pushed an old lady down the stairs. Last time I checked all he did was fail a drug test for weed.

Saw that this morning and almost fell out of my chair. That said I still don't like SAS.

In the past he has talked trash about the Cowboys and got away with it because our team sucked and was soft and his team (The Giants) owned us. Not so much anymore. He sees the writing on the wall.

SAS is tired of stupid stuff screwing black men over. And I completely agree.

I agree. This was where Stephen A. was coming from. He saw another young black kid getting a raw deal for no reason other than knowing the victim. And he saw Jerry Jones reach out to him and his mother. And SAS appreciated it.

Once the season starts, SAS will start ranting against the Cowboys like he always does. This was a one time thing. Good to see.
